another goodie I was able to secure for my collection:
    SAS Multicam combat pants Pcpmc

It's not a Crye combat pants but a PlatATac one, which was sported by the guys of NZ SAS as seen in the following pictures

here the guy on the right
    SAS Multicam combat pants X800s

Although in pictures from the suicide attack in Kabul last year the NZ SAS operators were pictured wearing the regular CP combat pants

They do look incredibly similar to the Crye combat pants. But great score none the less

infact they only differ in details, for example the two velcor flaps to adjust the kneepads on the back of the leg (last picture) where Crye only has one flap on the outside.

I do think that two would be better than one on the Crye pair that i have bee using.
That and their using green Velcro rather than khaki.

that guy is actually Willie Apiata, who was awarded the Victoria Cross back in 2007 for bravery under fire in Afghanistan in 2004.
That's why he is actually unmasked in this picture.

Here is his story on Wikipedia

Anyone know the shoes these NZ Oper's are using, look nice and if SAS are using them, then their durable and can be trusted.

I agree with Aussie on Merrell shoes, or could be any commercial hiking shoes.

But I would like to point out that those operators in last picture are not NZ SAS. They are Navy Seals. Note the team 6 golden lion patch and AOR-1 pattern plate carrier. The first and second pictures were taken at separate events, not same one.

I think the man on the right of the photo is NZ SAS. That multicam shirt with the merino wool body was made exclusively for NZ SAS, also the rabintex helmet and NVG strap set up points to that. The man on the left in AOR plate carrier is definetly DEVGRU.

Interesting observation. I didn't notice the NVG mount.
