    Contractor Patches Empty Contractor Patches

Post by Nkomo Mon Nov 07, 2011 3:59 pm

Most of you know I love contractor items. I found a few new patches recently and thought I'd share. Nothing special or expensive, just a few patches I will be making a display out of for the "man cave" wall. Very Happy All the patches are velcro backed except for the Triple Canopy patch.

I found them at my local surplus store with some other odd patches. Seems like the guy who brought them in might have been a contractor.

I forgot to mention that the Triple Canopy patch I had bought much earlier than the rest of the patches.

I went ahead and put these patches in a display case and they will soon be hung on the wall of my new and improved "man-cave". Basically, I got a $10 frame from Hobby Lobby and took a piece of scrap Multicam fabric and wrapped it around the fiber material that came with the frame. I then placed my patches in the frame as you see now.

Like I said yesterday, these patches aren't anything major. I thought they were cool and figured they'd make a neat little display above my desk.

Before anyone goes ballistic about the Multicam fabric, it was used to wrap my Christmas present last year that my friend gave me. His father works in one of the two factories that makes Nomex material for the US Govt. This was some rejected fabric, so no actual Multicam garment was hurt in this process.

"No Multi-Cam was harmed ........" I love it!

And oh yeah, great patches and display as well!
