Unknown Iraqi SSI - Help Needed

Looking for help with the identification for this patch. A very similar patch is shown in this forum thread but it is not identified:

Although they appear otherwise identical, note the patch in the link has number 507 while the patches in the photograph above are 505. Are these perhaps regimental designations? Thanks in advance for any assistance ......

Well, I don't have the time to check it now, but there're some ORBAT of the new Iraqi army...if you check them and see a unit with a 505 or 507 number, maybe it'll help you to identify the unit, and then your patch...that's just my opinion...

Interesting, I've got four variations on the 507 patch, never seen a 505. certainly is correct construction.

The belief is that the "507" is a holdover from the early days of the new iraq army ca. 2003 when it was called Iraq National Guard/ICDC. Believe they kept the number to establish a bit of tradition. Amazingly, after posting this on the iraq collector forum gave specific details of that unit, he'd been an advisor to them and knew the guy in the pic personally.
