Canadian combat/IR/reflective patches Empty Canadian combat/IR/reflective patches

My canadian co-worker here in Kandahar gave me her set of patches she was going to get rid of. Since I don't collect Canadian militaria I don't know how hard these are to get. I am though going to get a complete uniform when I leave, so I needed all the right patches. These are all the ones the Canadian Soldiers are wearing over here right now.

What exactly is on the IR/Retroreflective patch? I can never figure this out..I see the top 2 corners are black, and the middle is retroreflective...but what are the other 2 white squares for?

The two white squares are glow tape. You can see them glow at night when the guys come out of the DFAC. Just like cat eyes on the back of our helmet camo bands.

Thank you for this information. If I had come accross one of this patch, I had not idea that it was linked to Canada.
I just find this photo taken during an award ceremony with the patch in wear including the desirable IJC ISAF NATO patch.
