Iraqi Security Forces Uniform Photo

Hello,
I found this photo in my local newspaper (Jan. 3, 2010) and the caption says it was taken on June 29, 2009. Now look at the strange uniforms the soldiers are wearing in the background? Is this a pattern that's been out there for a while, or is it a new one? Interesting picture nonetheless.

It's a nightmare to make sense/keep track of all the different patterns the Iraqis are using. These are Iraqi national police, they also wear an apparently Jordanian police digi cam as well.

The Iraqis are stating to get as bad as the Russians with all these camo patterns...
Of course I won't complain about what that does for us collectors.

TRUE...very true...NOW if we could just find them to buy....

No kidding. I've seen a couple (I think they were current) Iraqi uniforms on eBay from time to time, but never the really cool ones like I want, such as the digital police or the blue DPM security force camo. Of course, with big coolness most likely comes bigger cost.
