    Camouflaged scrub for military medics

Post by P-E on Thu Apr 21, 2011 11:16 am

Some time ago, I found a scrub for a cheap price :

They also exist in other camouflage (ACU,...).

Here's a few pictures of their use in Iraq :

Thanks for the pics, P-E. I also have one of the DCU scrub tops in my collection. Never seen pics of it in use before.

hahaha, no I always search items other people don't want Wink

Nkomo, there's a documentary called "Baghdad ER" where you can see them in use. It's the story of combat medics and military hospitals in Baghdad. They also speak about medevacs,... that's an interesting US made documentary.

I gotta a question that wether this shirt is allowed wear in combat sitnation or not. And I see there is no any government contact number on it. Does it not problem for soilders to wear without any blame by their higher level officer? cyclops

Well, they are used in military hospital, so non combat medics but deployed on theater of operations. When you check pictures, you can see tons of variants, there's no real official set, there're some different ones (all private purchase / commercial).

And no, there's no blame from higher officer Razz

I'll try to add some pictures from the documentary Baghdad ER. If you have the time to check, that's an interesting documentary. Here's a link of their website : http://www.baghdader.com/ I think that's interesting to see the job of medics, that's often forgotten by historians. But that's just my opinion !
