Civilian Police Assistance Training Team Iraq (CPATT) Patch

Post by nkomo on Fri Apr 08, 2011 8:34 pm

I picked this Civilian Police Assistance Training Team Iraq patch from a seller recently. He brought this pacth back himself from Mosul, Iraq in 2007. This is my first CPATT piece and I'm really excited about getting this patch. If anyone has any other CPATT Iraq items (uniforms, patches, headgear, etc), I'd be interested in them.

Here is a little information on the CPATT Iraq: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Civilian_Poli...e_Training_Team The CPATT Iraq is commanded by a US General.

Back of the patch. Cloth on the back seems to be made of a soft cloth that feels very similar to what the fusable backing my wife uses for quilting.

Thanks for the compliments, guys. I periodically check Ebay and other sources for CPATT Iraq items, but usually can't find anything. This one is nice because it was brought back by a police officer who worked with CPATT.

Here's my addition to the thread. Some local made CPATT, a variant bevo type woven patch from Arch's Fed Protective Service patch, and really obscure contracts office patch. These came from my friend that spent too much time at camp echo and things I received from him are the cornerstone of my iraq collection.

At one time, I had more CPATT specific patches that I had bought at the various vendors as we got around, but I am left with only this one, and my coins..

Thanks Arch. Hope I am not hijacking your thread too much? Heres more detail on the coins, kinda blurry on some, I was in a hurry as my camera battery was about to go black on me...

Nice collection guy ! And I think it's a good idea to put them all in the same section (it avoids to have tons of different sections with the same kind of items) Smile
