    TT MAV Used by 3PPCLI

Post by mk1rceme on Fri Feb 25, 2011 5:22 pm

I got this TT MAV plus a pile of TT, Hi-Speed, and Maxpedition pouches that was used by a friend who used it in Afghanistan with 3PPCLI. He was a C9 gunner. I know I don't have it set up quite right just yet, my mannequin is not co-operating with me and it is tough to get the pouches in their correct spots. Another thing that is buggering me up is that my friend is a very small framed guy and it is adjusted to his size. I haven't cut the gun tape off the straps ends yet so I can readjust everything. I wish I could find a smaller mannequin somewhere...they all seem to be 6' 3" or bigger while my friend is probably 5' 5" tall on a good day. Most of the pouches still have dirt and sand in them...and some are extras that were not used or used sparingly.

    Cool stuff.

Yeah, I always had a hard time with tactical gear and mannequins. The gaps between arm and body are never wide enough for pouches, they just get in way.

Yep, I've pretty much gave up on this mannequin. Just not right for tac gear.

Hi your display is really even if your mannequin is to high for your pouches. I like to see that some of your pouches still have dirt and sand in 'em. You have a really nice display, Very Happy
