    Beyond Clothing brand BDU overshirt

Post by a6skin9 on Thu Jan 20, 2011 7:45 pm

Just picked this up at a thrift store down the street from Little Creek Amphibious Base where SEAL teams and EOD are based, so I thought I would take a chance on it. It is a tactical shirt developed for hot climates. This shirt retails for $139.00. Any thoughts on it?

Very cool find. If you see Matt Axelson's online Afghanistan photo gallery, a lot of SEALs are seen with these.

    This is a cool jacket.

JKin, I beg to differ, if the link P-E posted is same website you talked about, the SEALs in those photos are wearing the modified tru-spec tan BDU's. Note: Larger sleeve pockets (from lower pockets) and lacking velcro on sleeve pockets.

I was told by a couple friends in the know that these are used by SEALs. Although its hard to tell by the pics (keep in mind they are almost 6 years old), it may be truspec or propper, but SOF guys are known to use beyond tactical gear.

Do you have any good pics of these pants? I think there is a pair at the surplus store I go to.
