Have a question about Choco chip jacket:

It's possible that it was wear without any patches and tapes ?

I ask that because have a possibility to buy a 1st model of Choc Chip, in well worn condition (but no holes and some minor stains) and no patches or tapes was sewn on it

And last question: possible to use it for a USMC display? Or Marine corps choc chip jackets were always have EGA stamped the pocket ?

Yes, that's possible. I heard that some units got deployed so fast that there was no time to sew on any insignia. Don't know if that's true though.

Philip is correct. Most of soldiers patched up their DBDUs when they are returning home. Only few had original patches on them.

And for tapes, when DBDU was patched, most current are the standard model or desert model?
